Okay, don't panic ... But the Sharing Zones are a little messed up right now.

You got the new patch, you're excited to try out the new sharing speeds and whatnot ... and you discover that if you can actually remain in a KoduZone without it booting you, you can't actually see any of the levels.

The devs know about this and they're chasing it down. Until then, just load up some of your old levels and start seeing what the new tweaks have done to your game. Chances are, you're gonna have some clean-up work to do.

UPDATE: Looks like this is a problem that will have to be fixed in a subsequent update. They'll be re-entering the patch into peer review next week. Sharing levels between friends still works just fine. So cozy up with some fellow KoduXers and keep that creativity flowin'.

Anyone have XNA Creators Club?

If you're a premium member, head on over to the creators site and review Patch 2 - it's in peer review and could use your consideration.

Nested Expressions for Kodu coming up!

So, it's been tweeted that Kodu will (in the future) have nested expressions like:

Quote:
breakthrough feature for kodu logic: nested expressions, a la: (see - apple : do - move - towards and (score - below - 10 : say 'hungry'))

or

Quote:
kodu nested logic example 2: (controller - A button : and (score > 10 : shoot)

Now, it hasn't been announced whether or not this is making it into Patch 3 in November, or in a future release. That's what I love about Kodu - devs always thinking about the next thing, and we can always be inspired by a new tool to play around with.

New GAMES Section coming to the boards soon...

Something Cybercub is cooking up for those of us who check in frequently during work. Some simple arcade games and leaderboards and whatnot. Should be fun.

UPDATE - the ARCADE section is up. You should see a little ARCADE tab near the top right corner of the boards. Just a word of advice - don't even try to beat my score on Bejeweled Blitz. Seriously. I'm the like the greatest. In the world. I got a coffee mug that says so right here.

TAKE 'EM OUT - Now on the KoduZones

If you dare enter the KoduZones, be sure to check out TAKE 'EM OUT, my new sniper shooter game. I'm definitely gonna be patching it once patch 2 comes out (adding features like night vision and heat vision and whatnot) but until then, enjoy!

Here's some gameplay footage - sorry it's so dark. You really have to snag this one and try it out for yourself because youtube's compression ain't exactly a friend o' mine.

The KoduX Patch

Is gonna be SICK.

Here's something that Matt tweeted recently in response to the major features in Patch 3.

Okay, boards are up ...

... but I'm sure you knew that by now.  Thanks for your patience everyone!
